SMBA Luncheon - "Diversity and Inclusion"

For small businesses diversifying their workforce can prove difficult, especially depending on company location. Nevertheless, small business leaders can and should work to foster healthy, diverse and inclusive work environments. Diversity isn’t only about race. It is about all the ways people are the same and unique and includes cognitive diversity, work styles, family status, ability, and military status, and beyond. It leads to innovation and expands communication. Small business leaders have to think outside of the box to find ways to become more diverse and inclusive, so they can reap benefits and make effective decisions.
