SMBA Luncheon - Wisconsin Family Business Awards presentation

Join us at our July luncheon for a presentation about the Wisconsin Family Business Awards!

Family businesses are the backbone of any community. They provide jobs, volunteers, philanthropy, and stability to the places they call home. Smith & Gesteland started the Wisconsin Family Business of the Year Award in 2004 to help celebrate this important part of our economy and culture. Our speaker will tell some of their stories, share some moments from the annual banquet, and discuss how the program fits into the marketing plan for his firm.

Our speaker, Neil Fauerbach, has spent over 30 years marketing professional services. His first job was in his family's grocery store on Monroe Street in Madison. The family also owned a brewery that was located on Lake Monona from 1848 until 1966. He is a partner with Smith & Gesteland, a Middleton-based CPA and Consulting firm. The majority of their clients are family owned businesses.
