DESCRIPTION:Fridays\, August 2   30\n\n	5:30   9:30 p.m.\n\n	Monona Terrace Rooftop\n\n	Free and open to the public\n\n	Monona Terrace is thrilled to again serve as the home of Dane Dances!  This summer music series is one of Madison's most popular summertime events! Great dancing\, eclectic food and the opportunity to connect with other people from diverse backgrounds draws an average of 3\,000 people to the rooftop every Friday evening in August. These special concerts were created to help break down racial barriers and bring people of all backgrounds together for a night of free entertainment and dancing. Feel free to bring a blanket or lawn chair\; seating on the rooftop is limited. The Lake Vista Cafe will be open for your enjoyment. Food vendors open and cocktails are available for purchase beginning at 5 p.m. Picnic baskets are welcome. Sorry\, no carry in alcohol.  In the case of inclement weather\, please call 608.261.4000 after 2 p.m. for concert location. Concerts will be moved inside unless otherwise indicated.\n\n	\n\n	August 2nd: Dance Dances!
