DESCRIPTION:Championship Promotions will be hosting  this Soap Box Derby racing event for youth in and around the Madison Area.  Each year youngsters from throughout the United States and several foreign countries have raced in their Local Soap Box Derby race or touring Rally Races to earn a spot in the International Soap Box Derby held at Derby Downs in Akron Ohio.  The goals of the Soap Box derby are to teach youngsters the basic skills of workmanship\, the sprit of competition and the perseverance it takes to continue a project once it has begun.
