Madison Public Library Foundation

Madison Public Library Foundation builds better libraries every day by supporting the city's public library facilities, collections and programs while fostering community engagement. We raise millions of dollars each year beyond municipal funds that allow library staff to deliver better experiences and resources to the community, including funding for free, year-round Wisconsin Book Festival author events. Gifts to the foundation — along with proceeds from our two fundraisers, Ex Libris in the fall and Lunch for Libraries in the spring — help the library achieve a new level of excellence and equitably serve everyone.
