In 1926 MSCR began by a group of forward-thinking individuals who represented a vibrant, growing community of active people. Fortunately Madison, and MSCR in particular, still retains that sense of community. A place where you belong and where you can come to learn, practice and play with your fellow citizens.
MSCR is still a group of forward thinking individuals, who represent a community concerned about health, fitness and the overall well-being of its citizens. Madison has changed a lot, but some things remain the same. MSCR reflects this in our mission statement:
MSCR will enhance the quality of life for individuals in the Madison Metropolitan School District and for the community by providing recreation and enrichment opportunities year-round that are accessible to all.
Programs include afterschool, arts, enrichment, fitness, outdoors, sports, adapted, swimming and more!
